Your plane lands in Delhi and the journey begins. After immigration and baggage claim, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. On the way, take in your first impressions of India's capital—the movement of the streets, the contrast between modern Delhi and buildings that carry the history of another era, and the everyday life unfolding around you.

After settling in, your first experience introduces you to one of India's living traditions. Attend an Aarti ceremony and receive a traditional tika, a sacred mark placed on the forehead. In Indian tradition, these rituals are associated with blessings and good fortune at the beginning of a journey. It is a meaningful way to begin—not with a monument, but with a tradition.

New Delhi — Discover the Many Faces of Delhi

Wake up in India for your first full day of exploration. Begin with Old Delhi, where the city's history and daily life come together, before visiting Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

As you move toward New Delhi, the surroundings change. Travel through the government district around Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament, see India Gate and the Salt March Memorial, and continue through Connaught Place. Later, enter Bangla Sahib, an important Sikh temple where the atmosphere offers a striking contrast to the movement of the city outside. Your day concludes at Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, an impressive Hindu temple complex filled with intricate architecture and craftsmanship.

In a single day, Delhi begins to show you its many layers—historic and contemporary, energetic and peaceful, monumental and deeply traditional.

Delhi to Agra — The Moment You See the Taj Mahal

After breakfast, leave Delhi and travel toward Agra. And then comes a moment you have probably imagined before you ever booked this journey. You enter the grounds and walk toward one of the world's most recognizable monuments. The Taj Mahal appears before you.

Take your time as you approach the white-marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Look at the symmetry, the marble details and the scale of a monument that took more than two decades to complete.

Later, continue to Agra Fort, the enormous red-sandstone fortress rising beside the Yamuna River. Walk through a complex shaped by generations of Mughal rulers and discover another side of the history behind Agra. Today you don't simply see two monuments—you step into the world of Mughal India.

The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

Agra • Abhaneri • Jaipur — Rajasthan Begins

After breakfast, leave Agra behind and begin your journey toward Rajasthan. Along the way, stop in Abhaneri, a seventh-century village known for its remarkable ancient stepwell.

Then continue toward Jaipur. Watch the landscape as you travel and feel the journey beginning to change. You are entering Rajasthan—a region of forts, palaces, royal histories, craftsmanship and traditions that have given this part of India its unmistakable identity. Eventually, you arrive in Jaipur—the Pink City. Settle into your hotel and rest. Tomorrow, you step inside royal Rajasthan.

Jaipur & Amber — Inside the Pink City

Your morning can begin around a sacred fire with optional participation in a Hawan ceremony, a traditional Hindu ritual. Then make your way toward Amber Fort. As the fort appears above Maotha Lake, Rajasthan's royal history begins to move from something you've read about to something standing directly in front of you. Explore the palace complex, including Jagmandir, Jai Mahal and the Kali Temple with its gardens, and discover the blend of Mughal and Hindu architecture within its walls.

Later, return to Jaipur and enter a completely different world: its local markets and textile workshops, where traditional Jaipur designs continue to be produced. As the day draws toward evening, attend Aarti at Birla Temple. Then finish the day around the table with a traditional dinner and folk dances of Jaipur. Fortresses, rituals, textiles, food and dance—today Rajasthan surrounds you.

Jaipur to Pushkar — A Different Rhythm in Rajasthan

After breakfast, leave Jaipur and travel toward Pushkar, one of India's oldest and most sacred pilgrimage towns. The atmosphere here is different. At the center of Pushkar lies its sacred lake, surrounded by a town where pilgrimage and daily life have existed side by side for generations.

Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, and then walk through Pushkar's colorful local bazaars. After the grand forts and busy streets of Jaipur, Pushkar offers another side of Rajasthan—smaller, calmer and centered around its sacred lake. Tonight, you sleep in Pushkar.

Pushkar Camel Fair

If your journey coincides with the annual Pushkar Camel Fair, the experience can be extended with additional nights in Pushkar. During the festival, villagers arrive from across the region with camels and cattle, the fairgrounds fill with stalls and cultural performances, and Hindu pilgrims gather at Pushkar Lake during Kartik Purnima.

Pushkar to Udaipur — From Sacred Pushkar to the City of Lakes

After breakfast, leave Pushkar and travel through the Aravalli hills toward Udaipur. Gradually, another Rajasthan begins to appear. Welcome to Udaipur—the City of Lakes.

After checking into your hotel, head toward Lake Pichola and board a boat. For the first time on this journey, Rajasthan is experienced from the water. Allow yourself to simply look around and enjoy the setting that has made Udaipur one of the region's most distinctive cities. Your afternoon also includes Saheliyon Ki Bari, the city's markets and a visit to its marble factories, offering another glimpse into Udaipur's history and craftsmanship.

Udaipur — A Day in the City of Lakes

Wake up in Udaipur and begin your day with a guided exploration of the city. Enter the magnificent City Palace, one of Udaipur's defining landmarks, and look out across Lake Pichola from its elevated setting. Continue to the intricately carved Jagdish Temple, another expression of the craftsmanship and traditions that have shaped the city.

Then the pace slows. The rest of the day is yours. Return to the markets, take a walk beside the lake or simply relax at your hotel. After days of traveling from city to city, this is an opportunity to enjoy Udaipur without rushing toward the next experience.

Jodhpur — Beyond the Blue Walls

This morning takes you beyond the forts and palaces to experience another side of Rajasthan. Visit the Bishnoi villages, where you will learn about traditional rural life and a community known for its longstanding respect for nature and wildlife.

Then return to Jodhpur for an entirely different experience. Enter Mehrangarh Fort, the enormous fortress that rises above the Blue City. Explore its museum and architecture before continuing to the Clock Tower and local markets, where Jodhpur's everyday life unfolds below the fort. Today brings together two sides of Rajasthan: the traditions of its rural communities and the grandeur of its royal architecture. And tonight, you spend your final evening in Rajasthan.

Jodhpur to Delhi — One Last Look at Rajasthan

Wake up in Jodhpur for your final morning. After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board your domestic flight to Delhi. As Rajasthan disappears beneath you, think about how much the landscape has changed since you first arrived: Delhi's streets, the white marble of the Taj Mahal, Jaipur's forts and textiles, Pushkar's sacred lake, Lake Pichola in Udaipur, the marble pillars of Ranakpur, the Bishnoi villages and the blue city beneath Mehrangarh Fort.

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be assisted with your transfer to the international departures terminal for your onward flight. Eleven days ago, these were names on an itinerary. Now they are places you have experienced.
