1. Booking and Payment
When you book a journey with Soul India Journeys, you enter into a contract with us. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking
- Full payment is due 60 days before your journey departure date
- We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, or other agreed methods
- All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
- Prices are subject to change until full payment is received
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 90 days before departure: Full refund minus deposit
- 60-90 days before departure: 50% refund of total amount paid
- 30-59 days before departure: 25% refund of total amount paid
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to our customer service team.
3. Travel Documents and Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary travel documents:
- Valid passport (with at least 6 months validity from return date)
- Appropriate visa for India and any other countries visited
- Required vaccinations and health certificates
- Travel insurance (mandatory for all journeys)
Soul India Journeys is not responsible for any issues arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your insurance must cover:
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Lost or delayed baggage
- Personal liability
We recommend purchasing insurance at the time of booking to ensure maximum coverage.
5. Health and Safety
Your safety is our priority. You must:
- Disclose any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate
- Follow all safety instructions provided by our guides and staff
- Maintain appropriate travel insurance throughout your journey
- Inform us immediately of any health concerns during the trip
We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe it poses a risk to you or others.
6. Itinerary Changes
While we strive to maintain our published itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes due to:
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Political instability or safety concerns
- Operational requirements
- Force majeure events beyond our control
We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives of equal or greater value.
7. Conduct and Behavior
We expect all participants to:
- Respect local customs, cultures, and traditions
- Treat fellow travelers and staff with courtesy
- Follow local laws and regulations
- Refrain from behavior that may endanger or disturb others
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, with no refund provided.
8. Liability and Responsibility
Soul India Journeys acts as an intermediary between you and various service providers (hotels, transportation, guides, etc.). While we carefully select our partners:
- We are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party service providers
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for your journey
- We are not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Participants engage in activities at their own risk
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without permission
- Use our brand name or logo without authorization
- Copy or scrape content from our website
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek resolution. If necessary:
- Disputes will be governed by the laws of Washington State, USA
- Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action
- Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Seattle, Washington
