Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Your First Encounter with India

Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where our representative will welcome you in the arrivals terminal and accompany you to your hotel.

After check-in, take some time to settle in and begin your first impressions of India.

Delhi, the capital of India, is the country's main gateway and a fascinating meeting point of ancient and modern life. Contemporary streets, modern buildings and busy markets exist alongside historic monuments, temples and reminders of the many civilizations that have shaped the city.

Your journey begins with a traditional Aarti ceremony, offering blessings for a safe and harmonious journey.

In Indian culture, Aarti is traditionally performed when beginning a new journey or important chapter in life. During the ceremony, a sacred flame is offered in prayer, and a tika may be placed on the forehead as a blessing for good fortune, health and peace of mind.

It is a meaningful way to begin your journey through India.

Day 2

Delhi

Old Delhi, Living Traditions & the Spirit of the Capital

After breakfast, continue discovering Delhi and some of the city's most important historical, cultural and spiritual landmarks.

Visit Raj Ghat, the moving memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, before continuing through the grand avenues of New Delhi.

Pass through the Rashtrapati Bhavan district, home to the President's residence, major government buildings and Parliament House, and see India Gate, an important landmark of the city and a reminder of India's colonial history.

Visit the Salt March Memorial, commemorating Gandhi's historic movement, and continue to Connaught Place, the commercial heart of New Delhi.

Later, experience another side of Delhi at Bangla Sahib, one of the city's important Sikh temples. Take time to observe the atmosphere of prayer, devotion and service that forms part of everyday Sikh life.

Continue to the magnificent Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, an extraordinary Hindu temple complex known for its architecture, craftsmanship and spiritual significance.

Delhi reveals itself through contrasts — history and modernity, monumental architecture and ordinary daily life, bustling streets and quiet sacred spaces.

Day 3

Delhi – Jaipur

Into the Colors of Rajasthan

After breakfast, leave Delhi and travel approximately 273 km to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.

As the landscape changes, so does the atmosphere of the journey. Rajasthan is a land of royal heritage, magnificent palaces, imposing forts and colorful traditions.

Known as the Pink City, Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Its distinctive pink architecture became one of the city's defining features when the city was painted pink to welcome the Prince of Wales in 1876.

Arrive at your hotel, check in and take time to relax.

Your first evening in Jaipur offers an opportunity to begin absorbing the colors and character of Rajasthan.

Day 4

Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur

Royal Heritage & Living Traditions

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Jaipur and the magnificent Amber Fort.

For those who wish to participate, an optional Hawan ceremony offers a closer encounter with a traditional Hindu ritual. Performed around a sacred fire, Hawan is traditionally associated with prayer, purification and positive energy.

Continue to Amber Fort, dramatically situated above Maotha Lake. Begun in 1592 by Raja Man Singh I and later completed and expanded under Jai Singh I, the fort combines the artistic traditions of Rajput and Mughal architecture.

Explore the palace complex, including Jagmandir, Jai Mahal and the Kali Temple and gardens, discovering courtyards, gateways and architectural details that reveal the grandeur of Rajasthan's royal past.

In the afternoon, experience the living traditions of Jaipur through its local markets and textile workshops, where traditional designs, fabrics and craftsmanship continue to form an important part of the city's identity.

Later, attend the Aarti ceremony at Birla Temple, a peaceful opportunity to witness Hindu devotion in an intimate setting.

End the evening with a traditional dinner accompanied by colorful Rajasthani folk music and dance.

Day 5

Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra

From Royal Rajasthan to the Taj Mahal

After breakfast, depart Jaipur and continue toward Agra, with a visit to Abhaneri along the way.

As you travel through northern India, the landscape gradually changes, revealing another chapter of the country's history and architecture.

Continue to Agra, home to one of the world's most recognizable monuments.

In the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal, the extraordinary white-marble monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Take time to experience the monument and its gardens, observing the delicate marble inlay, symmetry and changing light across its surfaces. More than a celebrated landmark, the Taj Mahal offers a glimpse into the artistic ambition and enduring legacy of the Mughal era.

Later, visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built primarily in red sandstone along the Yamuna River. Explore its monumental gates, courtyards and palaces, once at the center of Mughal power.

Day 6

Agra – Jhansi – Orchha

A Journey into India's Historic Heartland

After breakfast, transfer to the railway station and board the Shatabdi Express at approximately 08:10, arriving in Jhansi around 10:45.

Continue by road to Orchha, a historic town surrounded by a peaceful landscape and known for its magnificent Bundela Rajput heritage.

Here, the pace of the journey changes.

Explore the town's historic streets and discover its impressive palaces, cenotaphs (chhatris) and Hindu temples. Orchha offers a fascinating glimpse into another period of India's history, away from the great imperial centers.

Walk among the historic monuments and experience the atmosphere of a place where architecture, religion and local life remain closely connected.

Day 7

Orchha – Khajuraho

Toward the Ancient Temples of Khajuraho

After breakfast, depart Orchha and travel to Khajuraho, one of India's most extraordinary temple destinations.

The journey brings you toward a remarkable collection of temples whose sculptures and architecture have preserved stories of Hindu mythology, divine figures, human life and ancient Indian artistic traditions for more than a thousand years.

In the evening, attend a traditional Aarti ceremony, offering another opportunity to witness the living spiritual traditions of India.

As the day comes to an end, settle into the atmosphere of Khajuraho and prepare to discover its remarkable temples tomorrow.

Khajuraho

Ancient Art, Tantra & Village Life

After breakfast, explore the famous Khajuraho Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's most remarkable expressions of ancient temple architecture.

Approximately 20 temples remain today from the original group, many dating back more than 1,000 years.

Explore important temples including Chausath Yogini, Kandariya Mahadeva, Chitragupta, Vishwanath, Lakshmana and Vishnu Garuda.

Their intricate carvings portray gods and goddesses, musicians, animals, mythical figures and scenes of human life. Together, they reveal the richness and complexity of ancient Indian art, mythology and philosophy.

In the afternoon, explore the traditions and philosophy surrounding Tantra through a dedicated class and ritual experience.

Later, visit a Hindu family in a nearby village and share a traditional cooking experience. This encounter offers a glimpse into everyday rural life, family traditions and the social customs that continue to shape communities in India.

Rather than simply observing India from the outside, this is an opportunity to meet people, share an experience and connect with a different side of Indian life.

Day 9

Khajuraho – Varanasi

Into the Sacred Heart of India

After breakfast, depart Khajuraho and continue to Varanasi, one of India's oldest and most sacred cities.

As you arrive, the atmosphere of the journey changes once again. Varanasi is a city where faith, ritual and everyday life unfold together along the banks of the Ganges.

In the evening, board a boat on the Ganges at sunset.

As daylight fades, the ghats begin to glow with lamps and the river becomes the center of a deeply moving ritual. Witness the Ganga Aarti, as priests perform the ceremony accompanied by bells, music, chanting and prayer.

Observe the devotional atmosphere along the ghats, where pilgrims gather for ritual bathing and purification.

Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the ghats and old streets of Varanasi, experiencing the energy and movement of the city after dark.

Day 10

Varanasi

Dawn on the Ganges

Rise early for one of the most memorable experiences of your journey.

Board a boat on the Ganges at sunrise, as Varanasi slowly awakens.

Watch pilgrims arrive at the ghats for their morning rituals and sacred bathing. Boats move gently across the river while temple bells, prayers and the sounds of daily life begin to fill the morning air.

This is Varanasi at its most powerful — a living city where spirituality is not separated from everyday life, but woven into it.

After returning to the hotel for breakfast, walk through the narrow lanes of the old city and experience the extraordinary relationship between religion, tradition and daily life.

Later, travel to Sarnath, one of Buddhism's most important sacred sites. It was here that Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.

Explore the ancient ruins, stupa, Buddhist temple and museum before returning to Varanasi.

Day 11

Varanasi – Delhi

The Journey Comes Full Circle

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Varanasi before transferring to the airport for your flight to Delhi.
