Arrival in Delhi
Arrival at Delhi International Airport. After immigration formalities and baggage claim, we will meet you at the Arrivals Terminal and transfer you to your hotel. We will take you to an Aarti ceremony to receive the blessings of the gods and begin the journey with good health and peace of mind, applying a tika (a sacred mark of colored powder, kumkum, or sandalwood paste).
New Delhi
Discover Old Delhi and the capital's most important historical and cultural attractions. Visit Raj Ghat, the moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Continue through the Rashtrapati Bhavan district, home to major government buildings, India Gate, and the Salt March Memorial. Visit Connaught Place, the commercial hub. Later, visit Bangla Sahib, a beautiful Sikh temple, and end the day at Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, the largest Hindu temple complex in the world.
New Delhi to Jaipur (273 km)
Drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan—a romantic kingdom of magnificent palaces, grand forts, and royal maharajas set on the edge of the western desert. Jaipur is known as the 'Pink City,' named after its founder Maharaja Jai Singh II. Arrival at the hotel, check-in, and rest.
Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur
Optional participation in a Hawan ceremony, a Hindu ritual performed to bring positive energy. Morning visit to Amber Fort—explore the palace complex including Jagmandir, Jai Mahal, and the Kali Temple with its gardens. In the afternoon, visit local markets and textile workshops producing traditional Jaipur designs. Later, attend the Aarti ceremony at Birla Temple. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner with folk dances of Jaipur.
Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra (236 km)
Departure by road to Agra. En route, visit Abhaneri, home to the famous Chand Baori stepwell. After arrival in Agra and transfer to the hotel, visit Mother Teresa's Home in the afternoon.
Agra
Morning visit to the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), an architectural marvel and timeless monument to love. Designed by the Persian architect Ustad Isa for Emperor Shah Jahan, it features perfect symmetry, elegant carved domes, and some of the finest inlay work ever created. After visiting, proceed to Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort (Lal Quila), a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1565 on the banks of the Yamuna River.
Agra – Delhi Airport – Arrival in Kathmandu
Morning breakfast and departure to Delhi by road to board your flight for Nepal. Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Kathmandu is a fascinating blend of ancient traditions and modern life, with a history spanning over 2,000 years.
Arrival in Kathmandu
Settle into Kathmandu. The city is rich in temples, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and cultural landmarks. Wander through narrow streets lined with traditional brick houses and experience the authentic charm of Nepal. Transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Kathmandu – Patan – Kathmandu
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, located in the heart of the old city with numerous ancient temples and shrines. Nearby, visit the Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess Kumari. Later, visit Patan (Lalitpur), the 'City of a Thousand Golden Roofs,' renowned for its fine arts, metalwork, wood carving, and religious statues. In the late afternoon, visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), dating back over 2,000 years with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot
Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, about 20 km east of Kathmandu. Founded in the 9th century, Bhaktapur is a well-preserved medieval city and UNESCO World Heritage Site with highlights including the Lion Gate, Golden Gate, and the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows. Taste Juju Dhau, the famous 'King Curd,' a traditional yogurt once served exclusively to Nepalese royalty. Drive to Nagarkot, a scenic hill station at 2,195 meters altitude, renowned for its spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges including Everest.
Nagarkot – Kathmandu
Early morning: Enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayan range from the hotel terrace (weather permitting). Return to Kathmandu, visiting Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a major pilgrimage site surrounded by Tibetan monasteries, and Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Kathmandu – Paro – Thimphu
Transfer to Kathmandu Airport to board the flight to Paro (baggage allowance: 30 kg per person). This scenic flight offers spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival, complete immigration formalities and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, stopping at Chuzom, the confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers. Check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the local market and explore the city.
Thimphu – Punakha
Visit the National Library, Institute of Zorig Chusum (School of Traditional Arts), and the National Textile Museum. Later, visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang) for panoramic views of Thimphu Valley. Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,140 m), offering stunning views of the Himalayas and the 108 chortens. Visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful fortresses in Bhutan, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility.
Punakha – Paro
Visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery, offering panoramic valley views and housing a magnificent statue of Avalokiteshvara. Drive to Paro (approx. 4 hours). Visit the National Museum housed in Ta Dzong, followed by a scenic walk to Rinpung Dzong. Evening free to explore Paro town.
Paro – Tiger's Nest Hike
Hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), dramatically perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The round-trip hike takes approximately 5 hours. The trail includes a cafeteria stop, a viewpoint, and 475 steps down and 300 steps up to the monastery entrance. Inside, visit the cave where Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal once meditated (cameras are not permitted inside the monastery).
Paro – Kathmandu
Transfer to Paro Airport for the flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and rest.
Departure from Kathmandu
Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward journey. Our representative will assist with departure formalities. End of services.
